The JW Marriott Residences Loreto are part of the Nopolo Resort Master Plan within Loreto, the only municipal master plan employed in the entire Mexican Baja. More than 30 years ago, FONATUR, the Mexican tourism development agency, identified Loreto as one of five locales – along with Cancun, Cabo San Lucas, Huatulco, and Ixtapa – to be developed into major tourism destinations. As part of Fonatur’s commitment, over $200 million in roads, water, sewers, electricity and an international airport has been invested into Loreto, Nopolo and the neighboring marina of Puerto Escondido, 15 minutes south of the JW Marriott Residences Loreto. Local sentiment, however, strongly favors a plan for responsible growth that sets it apart from all other Fonatur communities, thereby assuring quality development and growth that serves the cultural heritage of the area.
The JW Marriott Residences Loreto are not owned, developed or sold by Marriott International, Inc. or any of its affiliates.
