Explore nearby islands.

Grab a kayak and your snorkel gear. You are now in “The World’s Aquarium” the term given by Jacques Cousteau to the Sea of Cortez for its abundant marine life. Less than an hour away by boat, you can explore any one of the nearby island group of Coronado, Carmen, Danzantes, Monsterrat and Catalina, each with a distinctive character, but all known for their secluded coves, crystal waters and dazzling sea life. These calm, sheltered waters attract scores of migrating whales each winter to calf and nurture their young. Dolphins, rays, sea lions and sea turtles are also abundant within the Bay of Loreto Marine Preserve, the largest natural marine park in all of Mexico.
